At 1:00 on Saturday at the pavilion we will have arts & carfts for the children and it is free. From 5:30 - 6:30 we will have a pot luck supper. At 6:30 PM we will have Deal-or- no-Deal when contestants will have an opportunity to win first, second or third prize. From 7:30 - 10 PM will be a dance with DJ "Sting Ray." On Sunday there will be a Horseshoe Tournament at 1:00 PM for a $2 entry fee.

On Friday afternoon at 1:00 a birthday party will be held at the Fernwood pavilion for Mrs. Theresa Dragon  who will be 84 on that day. Welcome to the Dragon family!

On August 26-29, the Cummington Fair will be held at 97 Fairgrounds Road, Cummington, MA 01026. For price of admission and a list of events go to their web site: www.cummingtonfair.com

Saturday, August 21, a family movie will be shown at 7PM at the main pavilion while a pitch tournament will be held at the second pavilion. Prizes will be chosen by the highest and lowest scoring team.

On Saturday August 14th, we will be having a chili contest at 6PM. Everyone gets to taste and vote. The top vote getter receives a prize. From 7-10PM will be a country dance with Fernwood's DJ, "Sting Ray."

Saturday, July 31, will be a Christmas theme on the campground. At 1:00 will be free Arts & Crafts for the kids. From 7-10 PM will be a Christmas dance party with free gift bags for the kids. Please bring a snack to share. A site decorating contest will be on-going all day with the prize being a trophy that gets passed around to the winner to keep until the following year. Every camp site gets one ballot sheet to vote. The ballots need to be turned in at the dance by PM. The winning site will be announced shortly after 9PM.

Saturday, July 24, is BINGO night at the campground at 7 PM on the pavilion. The cost is $.50 per card. Prizes for all ages will be available.

Saturday there will be a block dance with fireworks display in downtown Hinsdale from 5-12 PM.

Sunday is beach party day from 2-5 PM. Games, music, food and beverages will be available. The first 100 kids attending the beach party receive a free pail and shovel. Both events are at the Hinsdale Fire Station.

This is a notice to let everyone know that Christmas weekend has changed to July 31 and Bingo Night will be on July 24.
