Fernwood Forest Campground, Inc.

This is my first blog. This feature has been added to my site by the web creator. I think it will be a good place to discuss upcoming events on the campground, current events in the camping industry and for general communication with the public.:)

I'm sensing that people are getting camping fever, because we are starting to receive requests for reservations, especially for the Fourth of July weekend. James Taylor is scheduled to be at Tanglewood that weekend. Camping provides a great way to be in the Berkshires and visit Tanglewood at the same time. We are located in the mountains northeast of Pittsfield and we provide a route that skirts Pittsfield and gets you there in 30 minutes.

This is what the campground looks like at this time of year.                              

Something new available at the campground this year will be Wifi. We have just ordered the equipment. As soon as the equipment arrives and snow melts we will be installing it and having it up and running for opening day, May 1st. Marion
